Percy Priest Hybrid and Striper Club

Year Long Multi-Species Tournament Rules
| 1. Entry Fees: Big Striper Tournament - $10 Big Hybrid Tournament - $10 Big White Bass Tournament - $5 Big Yellow Bass Tournament - $5 |
2. Requirements: You must be a current member of the club and own a camera. |
3. Registration: Entry fees can be paid at any time during the year. You can decide which species or how many species you want to register for. Each person must register individually...just like the big fish pot in a tournament. |
4. Start of Tournament: This tournament will start (pending approval) the Friday after the January 2010 meeting. |
5. Weigh-In: To "weigh-in a fish"...just measure it and take a picture...preferably of you holding the fish and smiling. Either email the picture to the club email address with the angler's name, length of the fish, when it was caught, and what lake it was caught on...or just bring the picture and info with you to the club meeting. Or you could snail mail it...just get it to us some how. The fish can be released alive if desired. Also, make sure we have your current contact info so we can let you know if you win. |
6. End of Tournament: The tournament will end on the night of the October meeting...and prizes will be paid at the November meeting. All photos must be received by the October meeting. |
8. Payout. Twenty percent (20%) of the tournament entry fees will be held for the Conservation Fund. The remaining eighty percent (80%) will be paid out as follows: Big Striper Tournament: 50% for Biggest Striper - 50% held for drawing for every one who entered a fish in the Big Striper Tournament. Big Hybrid Tournament: 50% for Biggest Striper - 50% held for drawing for every one who entered a fish in the Big Hybrid Tournament. Big White Bass Tournament: 100% drawing for everyone who entered a fish in the Big White Bass Tournament. Big Yellow Bass Tournament: 100% drawing for everyone who entered a fish in the Big Yellow Bass Tournament. |
8. Drawing: Anyone who enters a fish (regardless of size) is eligible for the drawing in each tournament he or she entered. Although you can enter as many fish per month as you want...You can only get credit for one fish each month in each category for the drawing. (If you enter fish every month of the tournament your name could be in the hat up to 10 times in each category you entered.) We want this to be fun event for everyone...not just the best fishermen. Since white bass and yellow bass lengths will be close...there will only be a drawing in each of these tournaments. Stripers and hybrids will have both a biggest fish payout and a drawing for everyone who enters. So...even if you enter small fish in each category...you could still win! |
*** Note 1 *** - Fish contributed to this "Year Long Tournament" only count toward the year end Big Fish Trophies if they were caught in a normal tournament. |

| *** Note 3 *** - Fish submitted can be caught on any lake and at any time. |
| *** Note 4 *** - Incase of a tie for biggest hybrid or striper...we will put the names into a hat and and draw out a winner. |
